As a successful industrial and technology leader, we are continuously hiring people and supporting people as they grow and develop their potential. We recently met with Lukasz and Sophie who are sharing their perspectives on what their journey looks like. Lukasz was promoted last October to become Total Customer Satisfaction & Quality VP of Seating Business and Sophie joined the company in August 2021 to become Group Controlling Director.
How would you describe yourselves?
SOPHIE
I started my career at Deloitte and then worked for large industrial groups, evolving in different positions in Finance. I am passionate by business topics and always tried to play my Finance roles as close as possible to business leaders.
As many of us and as a mother of two 10 and 8 years old children, I am also very concerned by the future of our planet. Joining Faurecia was a way for me to (modestly!) contribute to preserving it: the automotive industry has no other choice but to engage into a major transformation. Faurecia is actively engaged in this transformation, and I wanted to be part of this journey.
LUKASZ
Inspirational, passionate, energetic and full of ideas an alumnus of Warsaw University of Technology and University of Hannover with more than 15 years of professional experience in production, quality and automotive industry. Most of my duties were to manage a company’s overall operations by establishing strategy, managing company organizational structure and communicating with the board as well as driving profitability and cash performance. For me, key words have been perseverance, engagement, confidence and communication through my career so far!

Your first impressions?
SOPHIE
I feel I am at the right place! Starting as Group Controlling Director is a fantastic opportunity to discover the automotive industry and learn quickly about Faurecia.
Since I joined the Group, I met many inspiring people who evolved within the Group and are making very successful careers. Faurecia cares about people development and careers evolution, this is visible every day. The company engagement in setting up a non-polluting automotive industry is also visible every day.
LUKASZ
Very excited for the opportunities we have in Automotive Industry, Faurecia and in Automotive Seating in the current context. Whole background of COVID-19, micro chips and supply chain crisis is very demanding but generating infinitive number of new openings. I am curious of the new role, new responsibilities, and new people I will meet.
At the same time I am very confident that with such a great team we have in Faurecia and Automotive Seating we will deliver a 5 STAR experience in every interaction we have with our customers.
