Launch of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nuevo León dedicated to pioneering mobility technologies

Faurecia, a company of Group FORVIA, adds to its operational capacity in the Americas with the opening of a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Featuring bioclimatic design principles to optimize energy efficiency and support the Group’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2045, the more than 33,500 square-meter facility will employ approximately 1,500 people and manufacture automotive seat structures, instrument panels, and center consoles aligned with industry megatrends in sustainability and lightweighting.

FORVIA executives celebrated the facility’s opening in a ceremony alongside distinguished guests including Lic. Samuel García Sepulveda, Governor of the State of Nuevo León; Mr. Iván Rivas Rodriguez, Secretary of Economy of Nuevo León, Mr. Emmanuel Loo, Undersecretary of Investment of Nuevo León; Mr. César Garza Villareal, Municipal President of Apodaca and Mr. Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, Ambassador of France in Mexico.
